During my years on the Eagan City Council I’ve been supportive of Eagan’s efforts to become a more sustainable city. One of the most tangible ways we’ve achieved this is through our participation in the Minnesota GreenStep Cities program.
The GreenStep Cities program recognizes cities for their efforts to reduce energy use, preserve and enhance the environment, and encourage innovation within City operations. This past June, Eagan was recognized at the League of Minnesota Cities Annual Conference as one of only eleven cities in the state to achieve Step Five, the highest level in the program. I was proud to be a representative of Eagan accepting this recognition.
I will continue this work making Eagan a cleaner and greener city during my next term on the city council.
